DECLAN Patton has been banned for five games for a Grade D high tackle, the RFL have confirmed
Patton was sent off after his swinging arm connected with the head of Hull FC's Bureta Faraimo during The Wire's 21-12 defeat at the KCOM Stadium on Friday night.
The half-back was found guilty and received the maximum suspension as well as a £500 fine.
Patton will now not be available for selection until The Wire's trip to Salford Red Devils on April 7.
FC prop Liam Watts was also dismissed by referee Ben Thaler for a headbutt on Wire's Dom Crosby and he has been given a three-match penalty notice, with his offence deemed to fall under the Grade C category
Teammate Sitaleki Akauola will miss Friday's clash with St Helens after being handed a one-match penalty notice for Grade B dangerous contact in the same game.
