STEVE Price has confirmed Kevin Brown will miss The Wire's trip to Hull FC on Friday.
The England stand-off did not finish last week's 16-10 victory over Wigan Warriors after coming off with a head injury.
Price confirmed Brown's concussion symptoms were not serious, but that the impact on his neck has led to them standing him down for the trip to East Yorkshire.
Dec Patton will come into the side to partner Tyrone Roberts in the halves at the KCOM Stadium, but it is hoped Brown will be available again for the game against St Helens on March 9.
Meanwhile, forward Joe Philbin is available again after missing the Wigan game with a head injury of his own.
