WOLVES boss Steve Price knew he would be without star half back Tyrone Roberts after the captain's run.
The former Gold Coast man was replaced by Dec Patton as Wire lost 20-6 at a rain-sodden John Smith's Stadium.
The word is that Roberts has a minor knee niggle but Price said it is too early to know whether the Aussie will be back to face Widnes Vikings next Friday, February 16.
But he said his absence should not have affected the defeat to the Giants.
He added: "We were confident in the 17 we had out there tonight."
