TWO of Hook and Jab Boxing Club's star names are targeting European medals after more success representing England.

Olivia Hussey and Elise Glynn were part of the team that boxed against Australian opponents in London, with both winning their respective fights.

Hussey was up against a taller, larger opponent in Tiki Frazer, who will represent Australia at this year's Youth Commonwealth Games, but was unfazed during an outstanding contest.

Constant pressure and work ethic earned Hussey a unanimous points victory.

Glynn also gave away weight to her opponent Chloe Halley, but used her distance and range to pick off her opponent as she came forward and her tactics earned her a unanimous decision.

Both fighters will now move on to the European Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, which begin on July 2.

"Preparation has been excellent with world class sparring within the gym as well as regular weekend England camps," Hook and Jab head coach Amanda Groarke said.

"Both girls in a really good place both physically and mentally."
