LEE Briers and Stefan Ratchford did not look in great shape after Warrington Wolves' home loss to Hull FC tonight.
Stand off Briers, making his first start since returning from neck and calf injuries, clutched his left ankle in pain in the 67th minute and found the mental strength to finish the game but was limping badly when he left the ground.
Full back Ratchford looked shook up from a collision in the first half and battled through the game but Wolves' head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith revealed he needs a further check.
"We've got a few bumps and bruises - Briers' ankle and Stef's got a bit of a neck issue that we need to have a look at," he said.
"Aside from that, I think we'll be all right."
Michael Monaghan's right knee seemed to be bothering him during the game and he was replaced by Micky Higham who had started at hooker and returned for another spell midway through the second half.
