BRAVE Stockton Heath youngster Ted McCaffery is calling on talented youngsters to help him raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Pride of Britain award winner Ted, 10, has helped Alder Hey raise more than £80,000 to help poorly children following his open heart surgery in May 2013.

But he is showing no signs of letting up and has teamed up with Rue Murphy, from Chester, to organise Team Ted’s Got Talent.

It will give youngsters, aged 11 to 18, the chance to display their talents, as well as showcasing valuable community work.

Rue, 23, said: “I always wanted to do something for Alder Hey – I am so impressed by the work they do.

“Ted, especially for someone so young, is so inspiring.”

The event takes place at Notre Dame Catholic College in Liverpool on March 24.
