Dragons Den is back on TV and viewers are already jumping to buy the eco-friendly painting supplies featured on the BBC show.

Ethically minded couple Joel and Nikki Buckley pitched their sustainable DIY painting tools company - Eco Union.

The sustainable pair were looking for an £85,000 investment for 10% of the company.

Their award-winning eco paint trays and rollers made from 100% recycled waste material caused a stir between the Dragons with only new Dragon Steven Bartlett bowing out.

Initially, veteran dragon Peter Jones offered the duo all the money for a 25% stake but quickly reduced to 20% when seeing the fierce competition.

While Touker Suleyman and Peter Jones agreed to work together and pitched their partnership to the Eco Union owners, it wasn't enough to sway them.

Sara Davies presented a similar deal to Deborah Meaden, offering to put up half the cash for half the percentage, but Deborah wanted her sustainable investment all for herself.

Dragons Den painting company Eco Union

As mentioned, the sustainable painting company featured on Dragons Den is called Eco Union.

The brand's products are made from 100% recycled waste material.

Its paint trays are double award-winning, don't require to be washed out and can be reused over and over again.

Deborah Meaden scrutinised the company and saw the sustainable manufacturing process to make the trays so you don't need to worry about greenwashing.

Pick up one of their Eco Union Recycled Sugarcane Paint Tray for just £3 via the Wickes website.

You can also purchase an Eco Union Paint Roller Frame for only £4.20 or paint roller sleeve for £2.60 via the Wickes website.
