THE uber stylish Mii by Mango is being hailed as this season’s ‘must have’ city car, this is exactly how it should be.

Its arrival is the result of a collaboration between SEAT and popular Spanish fashion company Mango.

Needless to say, this is a car that’s always going to be more popular with the girls, and yes it certainly gets my vote.

Available in both three and five-door body styles, the one-litre three-cylinder engine returns around 60mpg and road tax is a mere £20.

Even the fuel tank, with a capacity 10 litres less than the Ibiza, helps to reduce overall vehicle mass and, therefore, keep costs down.

I opted for the five-door model, which was spacious enough for me to comfortably sit my two children in the back and shove all of our bags in the 251-litre boot.

There was good visibility all round, and it was a great drive too.

Steering was light, although it wasn’t particularly reassuring in the snow, and you’ll also feel some of the bigger bumps on the road.

Standard equipment includes remote central locking, electric windows, air conditioning and Isofix anchoring points.

It also comes accessorised with 15-inch contrasting alloy wheels and door mirrors and chrome door strips, plus exclusive badging on the B-pillar and rear.

I particularly liked the removable five-inch touchscreen with sat nav, radio, phone via Bluetooth and on-board computer – all essentials for a cool city car, although there’s no USB input.

A Style Pack is available as an £690 option and includes a panoramic glass sunroof and front fog lights.

Safety features include an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and four airbags. ESC is standard on every trim level, while Safety Assist is a giant leap forward for city car safety – the system applies the brakes automatically when it detects an imminent collision with an object ahead, and it works at speeds below 18mph.

Front and rear ‘fasten seatbelt’ warnings are standard too.

The Mii by Mango is available in either nude or black. Inside is just as appealing, with Alcantara upholstery and black simil leather with contrasting fabrics, nude piping, nude dashboard and special floor mats.

Buyers get a special handbag hook on the passenger side too – perfect!

A fashionable, fun car that’s economical and reasonably spacious. Works for Mii.
