WE have all heard of 'bring your dog to work day' which takes place tomorrow, Friday.

But now a Stretton hotel is going the extra mile with a new package which means you can bring your pooch to office meetings any time.

Got used to working from home and can't stand to leave your four-legged friend alone?

The Doggie Delegate package at The Park Royal means that everyone can bring their dog into work at any time for a meeting at the hotel.

Treats can even be ordered for dogs and their owners throughout the day, and workers are able to enjoy the extensive grounds for walkies while chatting to business contacts - which the hotel calls ‘netwalking’.

Another initiative that has been introduced at the Stretton Road hotel to make it more attractive to businesses is 'wellness meetings'.

The package means workers can enjoy a workout and swim before the working day begins.

They will then be given body-boosting smoothies and food throughout the day and finish with a sauna or steam room experience at end of play.

Mark Illingworth, general manager at The Park Royal, said: “We have spent months thinking about some fun ideas and great offers to get locals out of the house, out of their Covid routines and giving them a chance to meet some new people.

"The ideas are geared to ensure that our new Covid mates – new household pets – can be included in this new way of working and a typical future working day.”
