RESIDENTS have the opportunity to get their questions answered on how Brexit will affect them at a solicitor briefing.

Warrington for Europe has arranged the info-session on EU citizens' rights and people can also discuss the European Parliament elections.

Graham Gowland, from Warrington for Europe, said: "Brexit has created uncertainty in the lives of the 9,000 EU 27 citizens that live in Warrington.

"Many have been asking questions about what their rights are now and what they are going to be in the future.

"The contents of the Draft Withdrawal Agreement confuse our MPs and are even more of a concern for EU citizens.

"Working with the EU Commission, Warrington for Europe has arranged a solicitor briefing session on EU citizens' rights.

"It's an impartial, politically neutral information session and if you have a question on how Brexit will affect you, it should be answered."

The free event will take place at 7.15pm on Wednesday, May 15 at the Waterside Pub, Centre Park WA1 1PR
