LATCHFORD-based Reactive Audio and Video has produced a TV and radio campaign to mark the 60th anniversary of Fords of Winsford.

The TV commercial brings together 60 years history of the family run business and features early scenes which re-enact from when the late William Vernon Ford sold his first car, a mini cooper, to his customer from the family farm in Holmes Chapel.

It features the move to their second site in Winsford in 1986 and then brings it up-to-date with their huge sites in Winsford and Manchester featuring Mr Fords grandchildren Edward and John Ford.

Paul Smith, director of Reactive Audio and Video, said: “We wanted to convey the fact that this business is still family owned and also get across they not only sell Ford cars but all manufacturers.

“We really wanted to bring back some memories from yesteryear and pay tribute to Mr Ford who started the business.”

Marketing manager, Nathan Quayle added: “We really wanted to celebrate the fact this is our 60th year in business by paying homage to our history.

“The piece of creative tells a story and captures our history without forgetting our modern-day sales messages. We’re really proud of how the project turned out and can’t wait to get started on the next one.”
