A NEW motorway service station could be coming to Warrington with plans submitted for a 100-bedroom hotel, dog walking zone and picnic area.
Bluepribts submitted to Warrington Borough Council, outline the proposals for land north of junction 11 at Birchwood.
Planned facilities include a visitor centre, service yard, fuel filling station, electric charging station, parking, outside amenity space, pedestrian and cycle links.
Historic England has expressed concerns over the plans stating the development could impact a number of designated heritage assets in the area.
