A TOWN centre eaterie has come up with a sparkling award.
Shelly’s Restaurant, on Bold Street, was awarded five stars – the highest possible – in Warrington Borough Council’s Scores on the Doors website for health and hygiene.
Owner Michele Butterworth said the award is a much-needed boost.
She is also trying theme nights – such as a Roy Orbison tribute night on July 27 – in a bid to stay afloat during the current economic crisis.
She added: “It is so hard at the moment.
“But you have to keep trying and it is the people who can come up with new ideas and initiatives who will come through this.”
