BOXING star Frank Bruno met serving and former members of the Armed Forces to launch this year’s Poppy Appeal in Warrington.
The former world heavyweight champion went to the town’s headquarters of the Royal British Legion to meet members of the Mercian Regiment just back from Afghanistan as well as retired armed forces members.
Organisers are hoping this year’s appeal will be the biggest yet.
