THERE were smiles despite the showers at this year’s Hatton Show.
Saturday’s event saw more than 850 entries into a variety of different competitions including horticultural and floral displays, best model vegetables and farm exhibits.
It also included new attractions including the Cheshire Guild of Woodturners and Tinakiana delightful Petit four cakes.
Despite some heavy showers, crowds still turned out to enjoy the annual event which is a traditional show still held under canvas.
The Hatton Show Society has been in existence since the 1890s and only stopped during the war years and in 2001 because of the Foot and Mouth crisis.
