DINERS with big appetites were not left hungry at a Stockton Heath restaurant as the dish of the day was a six-and-a-half foot fish.
Cardamon Restaurant on London Road, brought in a 180lb tiger fish top cook for more than 200 hungry customers last Wednesday.
The fish was marinated overnight in a special blend of olive oil, coriander and seasonings before being cooked for eight hours.
Food enthusiasts made light work of the mammoth meal and polished off the huge dish with many wanting more.
The event also managed to raise £100 for Warrington Guardian charity of the year Brainwave.
And if you are disappointed to have been left out fear not for in July the restaurant plans to break the Guinness World Record for the largest onion bhaji and for that it will need to tip that scales at more than 200lbs.
