TWO people have been arrested following the execution of a drugs warrant at an address in the Common Road area of Newton on Friday, June 9.
Police officers carried out the raid following information from the community.
They arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a class C drug and a 39-year-old woman on suspicion of abstracting electricity.
Both have been bailed until August 16 pending further inquiries.
