A FANTASTIC finish from substitute Andy Lock saw Crewe FC return to winning ways at Bollington.
Manager Ian O'Reilly's tactical switch paid off as the fresh legs of both Lock and Steven May created a winner with just five minutes left.
Some good build up from May saw Lock released one-on-one and he buried the ball underneath the keeper to wrap up all three points.
It ended a hard-fought battle which looked deadlocked after two own-goals.
The first went Crewe FC's way as Brooks whipped a corner back into the box and pressure from Beresford forced the defender to slice the ball into his own net on 25 minutes.
Their interval lead was cancelled out just after the hour mark as Mark Blackburn suffered a similar cruel fate.
Crewe FC travel to high-flying Knutsford, this Saturday.
