NANTWICH Town powered away from the bottom pack thanks to a superb 3-2 victory against Skelmersdale United.
It's been a good week for the Dabbers who built on Thursday night's solid point against promotion-chasing Newcastle Town in the best possible way.
But it didn't start off so good as the visitors took an early lead in the clash at Jackson Avenue after just two minutes before Danny Griggs replied from the penalty spot to level matters before the break.
Another early advantage was again cancelled out by Griggs with Toliver Walker rising high to head home Nantwich's winner on 80 minutes.
Manager Dave Cooke was delighted with his squad.
"We had to reshuffle after losing two centre-halfs against Newcastle and the players responded really well.
"We got the right result and both Danny and Toliver were exceptional.
"One more win should see us safe."
Nantwich travel to Curzon Ashton, this Saturday.
