BARNTON British Legion came back from a 4-3 first leg deficit to beat Barn Owl A 8-6 on aggregate in the quarter-finals of the Northwich & District Pool League Team Knock-out Cup.
Greenbank also reached the semi-finals last Wednesday with an 8-6 aggregate win, but in more spectacular style.
They had to turn around a first leg deficit of 5-2 against Old Crown, bouncing back to win 6-1 on the night.
Joining them in the semis will be Coachman B and Rudheath, making it an all first division affair.
In the Supplementary Cup, Owley Wood, winners of the trophy for the last two years, progressed to the last four after a nail-biting finish against Barn Owl B.
When the tie finished level at 4-4 captain Martin Gerrard made an 8-ball break in the one frame play-off decider to see Owley Wood through.
First division leaders Winnington Park thrashed Farmers Arms 7-0 for a 10-4 aggregate win while Gladstone A had an 11-3 aggregate win, also winning 7-0 against Wheatsheaf.
Leaders Blue Barrel will be carrying the Division Two banner into the semi-finals after their defeat of Gladstone B.
