AUSSIE pop stars - of the female variety - are hogging the pop spotlight at the moment what with Kylie Minogue launching her new album and image.
And hot on her heels, after escaping from Ramsay Street, Holly Valance has jumped back to the 1980s with her second album State of Mind.
It's a change of direction from her debut album Footprints and it's difficult to guess which tracks she'll release as singles, as most of the songs take time to 'grow on you'.
Double Take would be my choice, as it's the catchiest track, and Kylie fans will like Roll Over.
Keep an eye out for Holly on Avid Merrion's Bo Selecta offering for the Christmas number one - Proper Crimbo - a dead cert for the festive top spot.
