THIS third instalment of the greatest comedy gift offered to the viewing public from the BBC for a long time, is without doubt, Royston Vasey at its very best ... and darkest.

Centring on a red carrier bag blowing around the freaky streets of the town you'll never leave, this provides a link between each murky episode.

Fans of the hit show are provided with far more depth than ever before to familiar characters like Pauline and Mickey (Love,) but it also features more detail on some lesser known incidental characters in a panto/horroresque manner normally saved for the Christmas special.

Keep your eyes peeled for the grotesquely funny massage parlour episode and look out for the return of the terrifying Papa Lazarou.

It's bleak, a bit sick, sometimes disturbing but always, strangely enough, side-splittingly funny. A must for any League of Gentlemen fan.
