A FILM maker has set his short drama in the Original Barber Shop in Stockton Heath.
Dave Hartill, aged 29, from Appleton, filmed his 10-minute drama, Storm in a Teacup in the village's barbershop on London Road. Now he is hoping to sell it to a television company as part of a six-part series.
Dave directed and wrote a 35-minute film, Just Killing Time, featuring Radio 1 DJ Mark Radcliffe.
About half the seven-strong cast, which is being promoted by Northwest Vision, come from Warrington.
The film is about a barber giving a client a shave, and realises the man stabbed him when he was young. With a blade in his hand, the tables have turned. But will he take the opportunity for revenge?
The Appleton man runs his own graphic design business but admits that filmmaking has remained a passion for years.
