WHOSE bright idea was it to move Johnsons the cleaners out of Bridge Street and up near Tesco?
This shop has been in the centre of town for more than 20 years as far as I can remember, and has served the public well, not to mention the friendly staff who have worked in the shop all through this period.
Now they have gone and moved the shop out of town. I work down Buttermarket Street and know for a fact that many of my colleagues will not be taking their dry cleaning all the way to the new site.
I just think this is a real shame for such a good business that serves the public to be moved away. I just hope it does not become a white elephant.
