GYCA emerged victorious from their clash of the titans with Golden Lion in the Grappenhall Darts League.
The league leaders triumphed 5-3. They won the last two legs via K Jones, 16 darts, and E Llewelyn, 12, while D Williams cracked in a 20-darter for third-placed Lion.
ESMB eased into a 5-0 lead against Red Lion. The stars of the show were D Owens, 17 and C Jesson, 24.
Bulls Head had an easy ride against ESMA. Their top marksmen were C Cooper Jnr, 16 and G Sherlock, 18, while S Mooney recorded an 18-dart win for the A team.
Lymm Legion can count themselves unlucky to lose against Ye Olde No3.
D Welsh inspired the No3 team to a single leg win. He prevailed in 24 darts.
Lymm's N Jackson also won in 24 darts while teammate T Arnold fired in a 22-darter.
Star were beaten by an in-form Stockton Heath Legion team.
W Hill, 18, D Dibnah, 18 and C Culleton, 19, excelled for Legion while W Bancroft won in 23 darts for Star.
