DEAF Social A opened up a seven-point lead at the top of Warrington Snooker League's Division Three thanks to a 6-1 demolition job on Monk D.
St Benedicts recorded an even more comprehensive victory. They beat Deaf Social B 7-0 to move within two points of second-placed GTBL B, who did not play this week.
Division One leaders Snookers A recorded a 4-3 win at Rylands B.
However, their lead was cut to two points thanks to Irlam Cons' 5-2 victory at Alford D.
Third-placed Newton Social suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Walkers B while rock bottom St Josephs beat Roosters C by the same scoreline to finally end their long losing run.
Roosters A look to be running away with the Division Two title. They defeated Kings Club A 5-2 this week to move 11 points clear of second-placed British Rail B.
