THERE were some excellent performances from Warrington Athletics Club members at the Open Indoor Track and Field meeting in Manchester on Sunday.
Louise Woodward, who was making her debut for the club, secured silver medal positions in the 60 metres and 60m hurdles races. She also came third in the 200m event.
Hayley Darbyshire was another Warrington athlete to enjoy podium finishes. The sprinter won a silver and bronze medal while Melissa Pendlebury came sixth in the 60m race.
