RYLANDS progressed to the second round of the North West Counties Cup after overcoming a tenacious Albert Park outfit.
Centre Bagley created two tries for Rylands winger James Evans. Mike Lee scored one and created the killer touch down for Thurston late in the second half.
Rylands play away to Roose Pioneers in a league game on Saturday. A coach will leave the club at 11am for any supporters wishing to travel.
