Latchford Albion A 18
Wigan Keepers 15
A LATE Tony Humphries try ensured that Latchford's A team progressed to the third round of the North West Counties Bowl on Saturday.
The powerhouse prop crashed over with less than two minutes left on the clock to give Latchford a narrow victory over their higher league opponents Wigan Keepers.
The try represented Humphries' second touch down of the game and Mal Mason also bagged a brace for Latchford.
Both men put in impressive individual performances, as did Dave Potter, Best, Glyn Taylor, Derek Smith and Ryan Barns.
