Mr David Julian Forgan, companion to Joan Davies, died of cancer on November 8. He was 59.
Mr Forgan, of Thelwall Lane, Latchford, and formerly of Cherry Lane, Lymm, was born in London.
He was last employed as a gardener at Winwick Hospital and St Rocco's Hospice, and formerly worked at TI New World. He served for 14 years in the Fleet Air Arm.
Mr Forgan enjoyed crosswords, driving and holidays abroad.
He leaves his companion Joan Davies.
A service was held on November 17 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation. The Rev Philip Mears officiated.
Arrangements were made by A Maddock & Son.
