Mrs Kathleen Maria Braide, wife of Mr Fredrick Braide, died of a brain tumour on October 5. She was 63.
Mrs Braide, of Cinnamon Lane, was born in Warrington, where she lived all her life.
She was a caretaker at St Bridget's School for many years.
Mrs Braide played darts at St Stephen's, enjoyed gardening and going to car boot sales, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband, four sons, a daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren and a brother.
A service was held on October 14 at St Benedict's Church, followed by cremation at Walton Lea.
Father Tony Slingo officiated.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
