STAR pupils at William Beamont High School left a lasting impression on the judges of a regional enterprise event.
The school was chosen to represent Cheshire in the North West Enterprise Challenge Event 2003, by organisers Education Business Plus, and a team of eight girls attended the challenge in Bolton.
Once there, the girls were given a task to complete using allotted resources. They then had to make a presentation on their findings to other teams taking part.
Although they didn't claim the overall prize, the team beat off competition from 17 other schools to win the prize for best presentation.
A spokesman for the school said: "The girls were a credit to themselves and the school. They worked very well as a team and their presentation was fluent and confident, with everyone in the group participating."
