FIND out if you are destined to meet your soulmate at a fun-filled evening of psychic speed dating.

Radio presenter Neal Atkinson is the brain behind the cosmic dating game which aims to pair up singletons at Mojo Bar and Grill, on Cairo Street, with the help of a look into the contestants future.

Those looking for love receive a short reading from medium Clare Tyson or one of a handful of psychics, focusing on the participants’ love life in the past, present and any opportunities that may arise in the future. They then take part in the speed dating session .

Each person pairs up with a potential partner for three minutes before moving on to the next at the sound of a whistle.

Neal, who works on Rock FM and Magic, said: “It is only three minutes but it can be like a lifetime if you don’t like them, or the best three minutes of your life.

“It gives people a bit of a heads up and a sign that there is light at the end of the tunnel. People leave feeling more confident and more enthusiastic about their future.

“If you have been at the dating game for a while then psychic speed dating is good because they get compliment after compliment.”

The idea was born by Neal and his partner Clare after running a number of psychic events across Liverpool.

He said Cupid’s arrow had struck, as a number of matches have started dating since.

Geoff Fellows, manager at Mojo, said the launch night on March 3 had a great atmosphere and would only get better.

He said: “Who knows, we may soon be organising a wedding party.”

People apprehensive about delving into the unknown are welcome to take part without having a reading, attend the night only for a reading or to mingle with single punters at the bar.

Neal likened the evening to comedian Paddy McGuinness’ ITV dating show Take Me Out but with alcohol permitted.

He said: “We already know you will have a good time.”

The next event will take place at Mojo on Wednesday, March 31. Doors open at 6pm.
