FOLK-PUNK band The Levellers return with a new album and details of a UK tour this coming month.
The Brighton-based group are set to release Letters from the Underground - their most politically resonant album in a decade – on Monday, August 11.
Described by Classic Rock magazine as “a brilliant slice of fiery pop reminiscent of late Clash” in a nine out of 10 review, the album musically and lyrically conveys the passion, energy and conviction that shot the band to fame in their early years. They are headlining a number of festivals this summer, including their own sell-out ‘Beautiful Days’ festival and will play the Royal Albert Hall on September 27 before embarking on a European and UK tour this winter.
You can see them at Manchester Academy on Saturday, December 6.
Tickets priced £19.50 are available from 0161 832 1111.
