BAND of the moment Fleet Foxes have announced an appearance at Manchester Academy 2 on Sunday, November 9.
With critics falling over themselves to praise the five-piece, 2008 has already been some year for the Seattle-based act.
Fleet Foxes’ sound has been described as ‘baroque harmonic pop jams’ and compared to groups such as Arcade Fire.
They have seen their self-titled debut album described as ‘a landmark in American music’ and received five star reviews from The Guardian, Observer Music Monthly, MOJO, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Independent and 9 out of 10 ratings from Classic Rock magazine and Pitchfork Media.
Tickets cost £12 and are on general sale now from gigsandtours.com, the 24-hour hotline 0871 2200 260 and 0161 832 1111.
