A MAN has been arrested after fireworks were thrown on main road in Warrington.
Cheshire Police officers were called to reports of a man throwing fireworks at around 8.15pm yesterday, Thursday.
The incident was reportedly taking place on Lovely Lane, nearby to Warrington Hospital.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence.
It was reported by a resident that five police cars were present at the time of incident.
Cheshire Police confirmed the man remains in police custody at this time.
