WARRINGTON’S teenage darts star Luke Littler has warned his fans not to be scammed by fake social media accounts.
The Nuke took to Instagram to urge people not to buy anything from unverified accounts set up in his name.
The 17-year-old shared screenshots of such accounts, which he says have conned people out of money for merchandise they are then not sent.
He says people should only buy products endorsed by him from trusted places.
Posting on Instagram, Luke said: “I wanted to share this with you guys as I have been seeing a lot of fake profiles being created of me and my management online.
“These fake accounts like the two screenshots have been scamming people and taking their money in return for merchandise that they then do not get sent.
“I have verified pages on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and I do not sell anything myself on these.
“If you want to buy anything to support me, please only go to trusted places, including @targetdarts and @zxfsportsmanagmentcompanyltd.
“If you see any more of these kind of posts, please report them.”
