A SEPARATE individual and company based in Warrington have been named and shamed by HMRC.
This is for more than £400,000 worth of unpaid tax between them.
HMRC publishes details every three months of people and businesses given financial penalties for failing to comply with tax obligations or deliberately filing errors in tax returns.
Details are only released when a person or business has made at least one deliberate default on more than £25,000.
The latest list was released in the past week.
Management consultancy ISupply Group WLS Ltd, formerly of Palmyra Square South in Warrington town centre, appeared on the list.
From April 1, 2020, to June 30, 2022, it was said to have not paid a total of £349,756.49 in tax or duty.
As a result, it has been ordered to pay a penalty of £208,105.06.
Also on the list is MD Mujibur Rahman, formerly trading as Royal Spice takeaway.
Formerly of Lovely Lane, Bewsey, he is said to have defaulted paying £68,070.59 in tax to HMRC between March 1, 2018, and August 22, 2021.
According to the list published by HMRC, his penalty is £46,951.42.
