A WARRINGTON resident can be extradited to Poland, a court has ruled.
Marek Zerominski appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court this week for an extradition hearing.
According to court documents, the 33-year-old, of Gough Avenue in Longford, was arrested following a certificate being issued under the Extradition Act 2003.
This was in respect of a warrant issued by authorities in Poland over offences of theft, driving while intoxicated and drug cultivation.
The court ruled that extradition is ordered to Poland on conditional bail, with it being deemed that the extradition would not be disproportionate.
Conditions of bail include an electronically monitored curfew, no international travel, his ID card is to be retained by police, and he is to keep his mobile phone on and with him, 24 hours a day.
He must also report to Warrington police station twice a week and reside at his Longford address each night.
In addition, the court said that he must pay court costs of £650.
