A SPECIALIST classic vehicle auction based in Warrington is set for a move to ‘exciting and transformative new premises’.
H&H Classics, which was based at The Motor House in Appleton Thorn for almost 20 years, says it is closing in on a permanent new home.
Ahead of the move to a new location to hold on-site and bespoke sales, as well as automotive meet-and-greet events, the business will be temporarily located at Cinnamon House in Fearnhead.
It is aiming to ensure that the new location will be a great place to work for all its employees, so they can ‘continue to thrive while providing the first-class customer service that H&H Classics is renowned for’.
Managing director Colette McKay said: “H&H Classics plays an integral role in the classic car community.
“We are keen to make sure our future location will give something back to enthusiasts, as well as being an exciting base for our business and our employees.
“Watch this space for more details, which we will announce in due course.”
This year alone H&H Classics has offered a variety of highly sought-after vehicles for sale, including a scooter that appeared in the cult film Quadrophenia and a Bentley owned by Peter Sellers, one of the greatest comic actors of all time.
A recent automobilia auction held at the company’s Warrington base also saw 100 per cent of the lots successfully sold.
Over the past 30 years, H&H Classics has achieved world record prices for classic motorcycles and cars, such as a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB and a 1996 Subaru Impreza WRC.
Other notable sales include Queen Elizabeth II’s Daimler, Prince Phillip’s Lagonda and Princess Anne’s Bentley.
Colette added: “We will miss The Motor House as we have fond memories built up over nearly two decades.
“But more importantly, substantial new premises will be revealed soon, and we hope it will be a beacon for classic car owners.”
