FIREFIGHTERS rushed to attend a fire in a wooded area in Birchwood.
One fire engine from Birchwood was dispatched at around 5pm yesterday evening, Thursday.
A crew attended the scene of a 'small fire' which was located in a wooded area near to Halliday Close.
A horse reel was used to extinguish the flames, which had also spread to a wheelie bin.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire Service said: "A small fire in a wooded area required firefighters to use a hose reel to put it out. The fire involved a wheelie bin."
