A SUSPECT has been charged by police after a pub window was smashed.
Cheshire Police says officers were deployed to Stockton Heath following an incident in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The incident in question was described as a disagreement between a group of people outside the Mulberry Tree pub.
A window of the Grappenhall Road venue was damaged, and now a suspect has been charged.
Martin McDonagh, aged 27 and of Kingsheath Avenue in Liverpool, has been charged with criminal damage.
The suspect was bailed and is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates’ Court next month to face the allegation.
The force’s Stockton Heath Police team said: “A 27-year-old man has been arrested, charged and bailed to appear at court.
“This is in relation to an incident at Victoria Square in the early hours of Tuesday morning.”
