FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a recycling plant in Warrington last night, Monday.
Crews spent four-and-a-half hour at the incident, which they were called to at around 6.05pm, on Winwick Road.
The fire involved a recycling conveyor belt system, plant equipment and three skips.
Firefighters worked with onsite staff to move the skips away from the building as two hose reel jets were used to tackle the blaze.
Three fire engines from Warrington, Birchwood and Penketh attended.
