BAILIFFS are to be called to remove caravans from two unauthorised encampments in Warrington.
It comes after two other unpermitted camps were vacated over recent days.
This is according to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington operated by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The Cheshire and Warrington Traveller Team says that there are two current unauthorised encampments in the town as of this afternoon, Monday.
One is on the car park of Tesco Extra supermarket on Winwick Road.
Three caravans and associated towing vehicles pitched up without permission yesterday, Sunday.
The log states that the private landowner is to arrange for bailiffs to attend to ensure the site is vacated.
Moreover, another camp has been reported at Athelis Club and Spa, located at Apollo Park in Gemini.
Again, the group arrived yesterday, with this encampment consisting of four caravans and towing vehicles.
The private landowner of that location is also said to be contacting bailiffs.
Earlier today, three caravans and towing vehicles pitched up on the car park of Sainsbury’s supermarket, off Church Street, but the group has since left.
Three caravans and towing vehicles also arrived on the car park of Morrisons supermarket off Wilderspool Causeway on Thursday, but they too have now left.
