FIREFIGHTERS were called to an incident involving an overheating car engine on the M56 near Warrington this morning, Friday.
Crews attended the scene on M56 eastbound between junction 11, Preston Brook, and junction 10, Stretton.
They used a hose reel jet to cool an overheating car engine.
There were no reports of it escalating into a fire.
One fire engine from Runcorn attended the scene.
