EMERGENCY services attended a crash involving a lorry and a barrier on the motorway this afternoon.
Crews were called to the scene on the M6 north link road near Birchwood at around 12.45pm.
Firefighters found a single-vehicle crash involving a large goods vehicle which had collided with a barrier.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said: “The occupant of the LGV was not trapped and had reported no injuries.”
One fire engine from Middlewich attended and crews used the fire engine to keep traffic out of the affected lane until they could handover to police and highways.
