A CHILD has been charged with 15 separate driving offences.

The 17-year-old boy cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age, but is of Warrington.

All of the charges involve the use of an off-road motorbike in and around Warrington town centre earlier this year.

He is due to appear in Warrington Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Thursday, to face the allegations.

He has been charged with five counts each of dangerous driving, driving without third-party insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

The first set of offences were allegedly committed on February 14 on Buttermarket Street and Academy Street.

This was allegedly followed by further law-breaking four days later on February 18 at Bridge Foot and on Bridge Street.

More offences were allegedly committed by the defendant the following day, February 19, on Buttermarket Street, Winwick Street and Pinners Brow.

The indictment further alleges more driving matters on February 24 on Bridge Street, Horsemarket Street and Winwick Street.

The last of the allegations chronologically are dated March 5 on Academy Way, Bridge Street and Sankey Street.
