HOSPITAL colleagues have raised more than £1,000 for charity this summer.

Those working at Spire Cheshire Hospital in Stretton raised the money through various fundraising activities.

These were all in aid of Warrington Wolves Community Foundation which the hospital is now a patron of.

Fundraisers at Spire Cheshire Hospital consisted of a charity car wash event by the senior management team as well as a Euro 2024 box raffle.

They were part of Spire Healthcare’s 2024 Summer charity drive.

Justin Ash, CEO of Spire Healthcare, said: "I’d like to thank Spire colleagues, and consultants for taking part in our 2024 Summer Charity Drive.

“It’s inspiring to see so many people giving of their time to raise funds for such a wide range of excellent causes. In addition to working every day to make a positive difference to people’s lives through outstanding personalised care, we at Spire Healthcare also believe in giving back to our local communities and making a positive contribution to society wherever we can.

“I am therefore incredibly proud of everyone’s support and efforts to make this year’s fundraising period so successful.”

Ben White, hospital director at Spire Cheshire Hospital, said: “Thank you to all our colleagues that took part and supported our charity events, it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and creativity in raising money for good causes.

“Everyone should be extremely proud of the huge contribution they have made on behalf of the hospital. Well done all.”
