A HUGE emergency service presence was spotted in the town centre yesterday following concerns for the welfare of a man.
Officers were called to the incident on Park Boulevard at around 3.15pm yesterday, Sunday.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene and engaged with the man.
“He came down from the bridge and was taken to hospital.”
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
A large emergency service presence was spotted at the scene, including police, fire and ambulance crews.
