A HOUSE was evacuated in Warrington last night, Thursday, following a kitchen fire.
Crews were called to the incident on Dalby Close in Birchwood at around 6.45pm.
On arrival, occupants of the property, a bungalow, had been evacuated and accounted for.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters tackled the fire using a hose reel jet.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots and to ensure the fire was out.
Crews also used a high-pressure fan to clear the smoke.
One casualty was given precautionary checks by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
One fire engine from Warrington attended.
